Alternate Suqats and Deads on leg day?

Should i alternate squats and deads when leg day comes around?

    Some ppl do. Many find both in the same week OTT and will adopt the principle you state.

    Nothing wrong with that, I did it for a while when my lowerback was taking a pounding from sport.

    So week 1 chest, back, squats
    week 2 chest , back, deads

    If you have a day dedicated to legs, I assume your on a 3 or 4 day split?

    If so my personal preference would be do Deads on back day, and Squats + SLDL's on legs day.

    At the end of the day, its personal choice, and what works best for you.

    How much do you Squat? Deadlift? weigh?

    Currently dont deadlift but want to start adding them.
    I weigh 203lbs, squat 200lbs x 12 currently

    Thanks PJH20,
    It is far too early for you to Squat one week and Deadlift the other. Your progress will be faster if you train both the Squat and Deadlift in one week until you're lifting more advanced poundages.
