Alternative To Dips?

Well ive joined a new gym, completely private, fully kitted out and all. One problem, no dipping station, theres not even two level surfaces where i can do dips! ive looked everywhere, so what can i do instead? will chair dips using benches be as effective? thanks bro's.

Each to there own mate, trial and error is all i can say.

For me, an alternative if i could not perform Dips would be DB press on a slight Incline Bench followed by DB Flyes.

I wouldn't recommend bench dips if you're adding weight- could be rather nasty on your joints.

If it's a triceps exercise you want: close grip bench press, JM Press, Tate Press, Skullcrusher, DB extension.

If it's a chest exercise: DB press, flat, incline or decline.
