Total Warrior is awesome.  I did the Lake District version this year. http://www.totalwarrior.co.uk/

Must admit, I've always wanted to do Tough Mudder with it being the original mud run type event, but I knew a load of lads that put a team together for Total Warrior in the Lakes.  There was about 25 of us in the team and it was a great event.  They're doing the Leeds version next year too.

There's loads and some of my mates are really into them.  What I would say is, stick to the bigger events.  Some of my mates have done the smaller scale ones with a few hundred runners and they don't live up to the expectations after doing a big event like Tough Mudder.
