Am i getting the most from my training
Hi all im new to this site and new to training, well sort of,, ive been into martial arts most of my life but over the last few years ive got a bit chubby and pretty dam lazy, so ive made it a mission to sort it out.
In the past i never wanted to be big [in size] but of late ive been wanting the body builder look and with a baby on the way and my job taken away from me im skint so i train at home ,all i have to work out with is a skipping rope a push bike a 5ft bar with 25kg on it and a bench and two 4ltr milk bottles mostly filled with concret..
Id like to know if there is more i could be doing to get a better work out with what i have to hand and id really appreciate it if any one could offer any advice....
This is basiclly what i do 6 days a week
15 mile bike ride and then warm up stretching or 10 mins skipping and stretch
3 sets of 30 reps on arm curls and bench press with wide and short grip
3 sets of 20 reps squats with the bar
3 sets of 20 reps lat pull down [but with the bar]
3 sets of 20 reps shrugs
3 mins of twisting with the bar on my sholders, im sre there is a name for that but i dont know it??
i also do push ups and sit ups but to be honest it changes from day to day on how many i do.
Like i said im new to this so please forgive my wording
i eat as well as my budget allows and as im a chef or was a chef sorry i know a bit about good foods but id like to lern more about body building foods
so can anyone please tell me what im doing wrong and if im doing anything right?? Im a little chubby on my belly but the other day i stood on some digi scales that told me im only 13.7 bf but im not sure i believe that?
when i get a bit more cofident ill post pics
also is there a introduce yourself part to this forum??
