At this stage I wouldnt eat to bulk or cut just use the time to reap beginners gains and learn how to eat a healthy clean diet.
My recommendation is - get used to eating 1.5g per lb of lean mass of protein per day,
get used to eating starchy carbohydrates and a variety of vegetables
get used to eating every 3 hours or sooner evenly spacing your nutrients as is practical
get used to having at least 25g whey in water post workouts (nothing fancy)
get used to sleeping at 8 hours a night
get used to the techniques and form that hits the muscle - rather than moving the weight from point A to point B unless you are planning to be a powerlifter - in which case you train like one
get used to using basic movements to build mass - dont get suckered onto the machines early on.
get used to being sore
