Amount of cardio

Hi guys,
considering that my main goal is size and that I'm following FrankieNY 5x5 workout (3 days a week), I would like to know the amount of running you would do in order to feel fit but not to loose muscles. I could do it 3-4 times a week, either after a workout (not on a squat day of course) or on a separate day.
Thanks.

depends on your definition of fit. mine for example will be higher than mosts, ust like what i think is strong is not even close to some peoples definition of strong.

if you are after size this is the wrong forum, but anyway, try no more than 3 sessions a week of between 20 and 30 minutes going at a high HR [75%+MHR].

You don't even have to do as much as Rob says in order to maintain a healthy heart. But, like Rob says, it depends on your interpretation of fit.

I don't want to run any marathon or loose a couple of stone but simply don't want to get short breath when going up or down stairs. I'm 5'8 215 and don't really care about bodyfat %, just want to keep lifting heavy.
    Thanks again guys
