Another PB Squat-2 weeks in a row!!

I set a PB Squat last week of 455 with hopes of getting up to 475
before comp in 2 weeks. Well last night I went to 455 again, then
went on up to 480!! I stalled and thought it was over, then pulled my head back (started tipping forward) and drove thru it. Coach said it was a good lift!!! I think I slightly ruptured a vein beside my left eye because there is a red splotch there now thats not acne.
It did feel like mt eyes werebulging out LOL

    Thats a fair jump! Well done! 500 is just round the corner!!

    How often do u train full out or close to it?

    I train three days a week - I typically train all year long in phases
    of 8-12 weeks. I try to set a target max weight on week one.
    Then right out a schedule of weights progressing up to heavy lifts so I peak at the right time. You could look at my journal and see what I mean.

    Damn good, I remember what it first felt like to take 494 off the rack for the first time lol. btw what gear were you using? suit, knee wraps, surely belt???? just curious - and from your journal I take it your around 230?

    I've been using a Titan Squat suit since fall. Knee wraps and a belt also.
    Weighing around 228 - Trying to get a little heavier for comp, but can't seem to add any more. I see your squat is bigger than deadlift - just the opposite for me!

    lol I have a funny story about that, I quatted 435 in a meet long before I ever got 315 in deadlift, dont know what ever happened there...been playing catchup ever since. I guess its the one form im afraid to go all out on because im afraid I could pull something =/
