Anti spyware stuff

I know you can get some stuff free but I have done a google search and most of the ones I have found only do a scan which tells you your world is about to end, then ask you to pay for the software anyway.

The free ones I have downloaded havent helped one little bit.

Fed up now, prepared to pay for whatever is the best software to solve the problems I am now having so................

What is the best and where do I obtain it??

Approximate cost woud be helpful too. Ta folks.

Ad-Aware is also a good one. I use a combination of windows defender and ad aware.

Its not yet although that has hapened before. All I am having at the mo is the odd pop-up and redirecting me to different sites occasionally.

Want to fix it before it gets to that stage.

Spybot and Adware are alright, but don't do the job properly IMO.

I look at a lot of 'men's stuff' and this makes me prone to viruses and tonnes of spyware and trojans. I stopped being a cheapskate and invested in McAffee security suite (about 20, 30 quid) and i have not got one virus since. I'd highly recommend it.

Moral of the story, always use protection!

download this trojan remover 6.4.9 that will tell you if u have any viruses on your pc its free for 30 days and you either buy it after that or delete it.it also gets rid of your viruses. also on your pc go to start then press run, when your box comes up press precentage above the number 5,then type temp, then press the percentage above the no 5.it will show you how many and what temporary files you have on your puter.delete at will the ones you dont use. it should look like this %temp%

For a payed for program go to: www.webroot.com it's called Spy Sweeper had some nasty stuff that no freebe could remove, this thing just wiped it off my system, if you do get it then and if you have anything really nasty like I did then run the scan in safe mode.

Spy Sweeper it does what is says on the tin. Perosnally I really hate Norton AV, it let through stuff (one of the reasons I got Spy Sweeper) that my free antivirus (Avast) will not, it hogs resources more than Avast too, only have Norton firewall as can't find any free apps appart from zonalarm and I don't like it.
