Anti-depressants and Steroids

Hmmmmmm, they help me sleep (like a baby!) and they increase my appetite. They also help my mood and keep me from losing it. Anyone else find these a match made in heaven?

Now then mate, I've been on Venlafaxine and Risperidone for ages, just been discharged today, but found out risperidone causes gyno symtoms, also totally lose your sex drive. Just thought i'd let you know mate.

    Cheers

I nearly came off them after 2 weeks! The stuff was ruining my life, but the side effects go away after one month or so.

I was on 40mg of Citalopram a while ago, prescribed by my Doctor, and thought they helped me alot. My mood varies dramatically, and when I feel low, I feel REALLY low.

I never had any bad side effects with Citalopram. They made me feel calmer, more at ease and generally more "happy".

Now, I'm not taking them, and my depression/mood lows are rearing it's/their ugly heads once more.
