Any Bulletproof Execs here?

Anyone hear listen to the Bulletproof radio podcast or use any of the Bulletproof Executive products such as the upgraded coffee, MCT / XCT Oil, or Brain Octain fuel?

He is the guy who recommends putting butter and MCT/coconut oil in your coffee for fat burning and improved mental focus.

His diet is sort of paleo but modified as far as I can tell.

I've recently stopped eating processed carbs and eating more fats and dabbling with butter and coconut oil coffees but not really had much of a noticeable mental boost which I could really do with.

He's a good salesman when promoting his special coffee (£20 a bag) and MCT oil (£30) but is it all hype?

Any one tried any of his stuff?
Cheers!

Also known as the bullsh1t executive

Some good basic principles but yeah, as you said, good salesman. Products are fine I hear, just over priced

I recall from a recent Kiefer podcast the topic of butter in coffee and the end result was that double dream, or heavy cream as they call it in the states is superior to butter. Plus it taste better too.

Hmm, so you wouldn't recommend cream or butter when cutting (low carbing)?

Why the hell would anyone on a restrictive diet want to drop beautiful filling carbs for a chunk of melted butter. It's lunacy, a fad and a money making scam.

Just buy some normal coffee and eat normal food!

If you're low carbing, then I would pick double cream over butter every time to put in my coffee. I do this pretty much every day, taste sensational.
