Any Suggestions

I'm gonna be starting on a building phase in a few weeks. Anyone got any good routines (3 or 4-day split) that will help me bring out my Upper Chest and Calves?

    People are going to tell you that you cannot bring out your upper chest because the pectoralis major is all one muscle and contracts as one muscle so you cannot stimulate just the upper part to grow. It will grow as a whole.

    Take a look around at the stickies there are alot of great routines around here that would help you gain mass all over.

    Fair enough, but in that case, what is the point of performing incline and decline presses, as well as flat presses? Surely working the muscle through different ranges of movement will lead to a greater stimulation of fibres in the different areas of the muscle.

    I was always told that, due to the fan-shape of the Pectoralis Major, it was possible to stimulate the Upper and Lower parts, but not the Inner and Outer due to its insertion points onto the Clavicle and Sternum.

    It probably only feels like inclune is bringing out upper chest.
    It actually is probably just a differant stimulant for your body to react to so forces over all growth which will also bring out upper chest as well as the rest of chest.
