Any heating engineers on here ?

I've got a megaflow hot water tank in the airing cupboard and it's making a high pitched screeching noise , any ideas what's causing it ? . It's all switched off at the moment .
Thanks

Is this when you turn on a tap? What do you do that makes it squeal or at least makes it worse?
