Anyone Skiied in Tignes before?

I'm off snowboarding there in December.

As I was booking I accidentally also bought the lift pass to Espace Killy ski area. Pretty sure they added it to my package without me clicking it, cheeky b*stards lol.

Anyway, I've got 6 days there. Will I get bored of Tignes and want to use the extra lift pass? Or should I just get a refund?

    Yep what he said!^

Espace Killy is immense! Been there 5 times now boarding and never tire of it. I'd not want Tignes only personally, awesome powder areas if you know where to go. Brilliant one off the side of the Face but you have to get back through a wooded area at the end, i'd say you need to be pretty good to attempt it.

The Face after snowfall is incredible if you can be one of the first down.

If you want a little challenge then use the Glacier lift, down to the left is a route up the mountain, it's about a half an hour hike then traverse over till you find a nice spot and it's vertical powder.

The craziest thing you can do is jump off the Leissieres lift at the top, you will see what I mean if you take the lift. Anyone else done it?

La folie douce is absolutely banging but you wont get back to Tignes on a lift if you get some apres there, would have to bus it back so make sure you leave time for the run down and lifts back!

You will enjoy it, the place is incredible.

Boarded in Tignes some years ago, was very impressed very well organised and a wide variety of parks, and ski/Board runs.
    Same with Killy.
    As above enjoy!

Been to L'espace Killy twice and it's great. You won't regret having bought the lift pass.

Been to Tignes/EK quite a few times.  Definitely worth the full pass IMO.

Which bit of Tignes are you staying in?

Pretty decent lots of lash always snow as it's high. Only thing I don't like is English nobs in the bars in shirty retro clothing behaving like ****s.

Skiing top notch for all levels so long as it's nice weather. If it's snowing hard due to the height there's not a lot you can do apart from get pissed. Whites out quickly.

I started last season skiing there for pre season testing about this time last year on the glacier was mental because a lot of the European teams were practicing for Sochi. Tonnes of fit snatch.

If you're a decent boarder head to le fornet and get the signal drag lift, some great runs off the top but be warned, it's seriously steep.
