Anyone been to Flex & Tone in Salford
I keep trying to call them but I'm getting no answer, maybe they changed phone numbers or something. I just need to know a few things: How much is membership? Can you turn up and use the gym with a one off payment if you aren't a member? opening hours? Is it full of scallies? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Yeah I will definitely go down there, but I'm already a member at another gym, so if I can't use it on the day without joining it's a bit of a waste

Most independant gyms offer PAYG. There are/were a couple of members who've used it, but one is banned (from MT) and one I haven't seen post for a while.

I know right, I might just turn up and say "Hi I'm here to flex and tone!" Then do some poses. but supposedly it's a hardcore gym.

I was thinking of going there too, the only half decent gym in manchester city centre is Sugdens and that's barely halfway decent, but F&T is about 2.5 miles from me and sugden is real close by.

There's the Olympic Gym in Eccles too which do offer PAYG if it's not too far away http://paulgeorge.org/olympicgym.htm

You can pay on the day. £3 from memory. HArdcore gym with some good kit and no heating. Upstairs they have a boxing room with bags, a ring, stuff like that to get some cardio in. They don't always have a guy on the door so won't always answer phones...but they're open normal "hardcore gym times", i.e. Mon-Fri: 10am-9pm Sat & Sun: 9am-3pm That's from memory. Just pop along. Nice guys there.

I would agree that it is a decent gym, good kit for a bodybuilder. I presume you're training for BB? Then it's a very good option close to Manchester City Centre, good equipment as I said. You can PAYG
