Anyone bored to death with Bodybuilding?

I'm not talking about going to the gym and enjoying a workout, I'm talking about the on going routine of whey powder, getting calories in, exercising each muscle group once a week, and getting bored and tired with it all.

I have moved over from being a fairly well built guy to doing pure aerobic exercises and I'm glad. Anyone else get sick of weights and stop?

Yes, i seem to be gravitating more towards straining for strength and hiit training rather than specific bbing stuff.

For me it's a stress relief if I didn't do it I would be kicking off all the time like I used to, now I'm too tired and focussed on my next meal to get into any agro

Also I have a very slow metabolism so if I didn't regiment my food and training I'd be one of those guys you have to take down the bedroom wall and crane out of the house.

Can be mentally draining especially if you're struggling to see any progress for any amount of time.I think this is why a lot of people I know have gone down the gym for 6 months or so then lost interest and packed it in.Its all fun and games while you're getting the beginner gains but not so much when you have to fight for every little gain after that.Personally its been a part of my life for so long now I cant really imagine there will come a day when I stop training completely.

Im not bored, but im a bit confused about what my goals are.

At first i wanted to just be big, but now im thinking, i would rather be more athletic, and be able to do things like hand stand pushups, planche press ups, and be very good at pull ups (can do 8 max right now), and be able to do muscle ups and 1 arm pull ups etc

Ive done some research into it, but ive still got no idea how to really change things to go about it...so im sticking to just BB for now... with 100% commitment off course

no,ive never fell out with the weights, but this year is the most focussed ive been since my early days on mt,and the knock on effects are starting to take effect as well.

altho ive had long periods since i started(2002)where ive stopped dead for months,or been inconsistent, some due to work, some due to being under educated.

    Correct.

Nothing contributes so much to tranquilizing the mind as a steady purpose - a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye.
