Anyone doing 'Tough Guy'?

Is anyone doing the 'Tough Guy' run across Wolverhampton? Its 8 miles of running interspersed with assault courses.

    Hello mate,

3 hours is a good time, but its not that easy as there are many runners and you can get blocked in behind the slower runners and it can be tough as the run lanes get very narrow at times!

Its best to treat the event as a fun run as if your not running from the front squad as "Traffic" is the biggest problem if running from the back.

Enjoy mate, and rasie some funds for charity!

    Respect!

    Rich

Carb up well before the event and make sure you take a drink at every water station

Not wear training shoes as you will slip everywhere. Cross country running shoes with the hard rubber studs are far far better.
