Anyone ever heard of a pin snapping when inj

I was brushing up on my techniques and read never to push the pin all the way in incase it snaps.

I've never done this, always rite in saves the pin moving in and out, I don't fancy a pin snapping inside my muscle.

I have never heard anyone on here saying it's happened

No,  have you tried to snap a hypodermic needle ? They bend rather than snap.

Before someone jumps in: Yes they will break if you continously bend one back and forth but thats due the metal fatigue and takes a few repetitions, not very likely to happen peri-injection.

    Ignorance: Reassuringly Expensive.

Never tried, I actually read it on spot injections I've used that site before I've done any cycle. I'm not exciting about injecting after being off gear for so long, I've done prop and Tren ace for weeks I'm alrite one I get going.

    Overthinking much?

As said needles are made of ductile steel and bend before snapping. Not that you could very well bend one inside your muscle, even the softest steel is a lot harder than flesh and it'll just cut through the tissue and make a mess if you try moving it too much.

You actually want to jab deep, reduces the chances of oil leaking back out or causing an infection.

Pins need to adhere to certain manufacturing standards. Can you imagine the uproar if patients in hospitals started to report pins snapping inside them.  Theoretically it is possible from maybe a freak manufacturing defect but it would be almost unheard of - a bit like the chance of being struck by lightening while being sat 200 metres away from a church spire

I have seen 2 of them break in my 16yrs of medical service. They were for allergy injections so a very small gauge. I have not seen anything snap that would be used for injecting oils.

I think i just questioned it because it's been over two years since I last injected.

Is it alrite to jab through a tattoo medic? Thinking about scar tissue.

After I injected earlier I lost all concern I had this morning, probably just nerves and over thinking it.

i've never had one snap but i have had one come away from the plastic bit at the top where it connects to the syringe.

no biggie tho, just pulled it out

tbh i was injecting into a bit where the oil just would not go in, so was pushing bl00dy hard and needless to say the syringe was shaking about a bit - not my smoothest injection. but the metal pin detatched from the plastic bit and oil went fooking everywhere.

It may damage the appearance of the tattoo so me personally I would inject elsewhere. I have given many injections through tattoos to my patients but hey was not my tattoo.
