Anyone here 'not bench'?

As above really.

Over the past few months ive been favouring dumbbell work over barbell on the bench and im quite pleased with the growth inj the 'pecs' lol

I used to be obsessed with having a big bench, and when i could 1 rep max 100kg my chest development wasnt as good as it is now and i probably cant bench 100kg now

anyone else find this?

I use DB's for benching, prefer the range of movement.

no, i like both db and bb, and dont think any routine should be without them, if your looking to gain size.

a lot of people report of shoulder injuries from flat benching but i dont suffer that. guess im just lucky, but my form on both is perfect, slow controlled reps, none of this bouncing sh*t, i cant bench very heavy like this but it gives me the best pump.

flat bench BB is a waste of time IMO, its an ego trip. DBs and hammer strength press all the way

disagree with that stament, most defo not an ego trip for me anyway, it would be a very small ego in my case anyway lol!

if done correctly superb excercise, too many fools trying to bounce big weights about with appauling form, just to say they benched "x kgs" is when the ego comes in.

although dumbells and hammer strength i rate highly also.

infact there are very few excercises imo that are not good, 99% of the time it is form that cause they excercise to fail, if you develop a good mind muscle connection just about all excercises are benfical, imo of course.
