I dont see the problem using gloves. I couldn't give a **** what the BB bro community think either.

Big Ron wore them.

Probably the best bodybuilder to walk the earth.

Unless you're handling some crazy weights that will tear your skin then its totally soft. Think it stems from training at a young age it was a total no no. Like wearing a coat/jumper on a cold night in the toon. Obviously now my palms have hard skin. When i could squat i never used to cover the bar or my back. Now you see people with like 80k with a towel wrapped round it. Embarrassing .

There are quite a few blokes in my gym who wear gloves, some of them are huge feckers so i'm pretty sure they don't give a damn what non glover wearers think about them being sissies!

I tried them once and just couldn't get a decent grip for deads or pull ups/chins, perhaps i was wearing the wrong type?

I wear gloves, I didn't know people might be laughing at me because of it - not that I care I'd just rather not get blisters on my hands.

What's the issue anyway? I wouldn't think twice if I seen someone wearing gloves it's there life

Proud glove wearer, and my GF loves the contrast of soft skin and hard muscle.

All over.  :)

The temperature here in the summer can get into the mid 40's, so sweat can be an issue especially if the knurling on the bar is very worn. If your gym doesn't allow chalk, which many chains don't, gloves mat be excused I think.

You did gain far too much fat though,I mean, you're not muscular at all, you're just a fat mess.

I have no issue with them although I do view anything that gives extra grip as very slightly cheating. That includes chalk. If you can't lift the weight with your bare hands then keep practicing until you can IMO.

No. Chalk is superior for everything. If chalk is banned then complain.
If chalk is still banned, use liquid chalk. If that is banned find a proper gym.

Suspirio, gloves make the bar harder to grip as they increase the diameter. Chalk is not cheatin, it just prevent sweat causing the bar slip. Why don't you oil up the bar if you really wona train your grip lol.

As for girls. You can't even feel callus on bare skin unless they are ripped and sharp.

Body Weight - 83kg
Bench - 145kg
Squat - 190kg
Clean & Jerk - 129kg
Snatch - 98kg
