Anyone strained muscle in the abdominal wall?

For a while now I have had a dull pain on the abdomen, just right of the left side hip bone, usually aggravated from leg work.
Had it checked with the Doc and he was pretty certain their was no hernia ( no bulge or anything), however if im on the flat leg machine ( the one where you lie on you stomach raise the legs up to work the Hams, don't know its proper name!), I can feel an over  all pushing in that area out.

Day to day its fine, and over a rest in Chrimbo I kind of forgot about it, could it just be a weak muscle, strained?

Probably a muscle strain. They can be a bitch, last time I had one took like a month to heal. You just have to rest it really, not much to be done about it.

Leg curl machine! Bit like bicep curls but with the legs
I pulled something around a few years back. Even deep breathing was hard. Thought I had cracked a rib but it went away pretty quick. Sometimes I feel a pulling sensation in that area on the leg press.

Im trying a few different leg sessions to try and train around it and not aggravate it for now, it doesn't really both me day to day, so fingers crossed its nothing more than a sore muscle, just the awkward position of it means ya cant do anything to help it really.

Hopefully you'll be able to work around it but if it aint clearing up you'll have to take some rest but should be ok.
