Anyone tried an every other routine?
Atleast that's what I call it. I have seen some people do it before. An example is this:
Smith Incline Bench Press- 3 sets 4-8 reps
Lat Pulldowns- 3 sets 4-8
Dumbbell Bench Press- 3 sets 6-10
Barbell rows- 3 sets 6-10
***These sets are not supersetted***
Shoulder Press- 3 sets 4-8
Side raises- 2 sets 8-12
Skullcrushers 3 sets 6-10
Curls- 3 sets 6-10
Rope Pulldowns- 2 sets 8-12
hammer curls- 2 sets 8-12
***Sets are not supersetted***
Normal leg day
I guess the purpose of this is to do one main chest exercise, then a back one, and then back to another chest one so it gets some needed rest...?... so maybe you get more out of the second exercise...?... And same thing for bi's and tri's. I am not sure. I have only ever seen a few people train this way and was wondering if anyone here has tried it.
