Anyones goals completely changed since started BBing

When i first got interested in BBing i wanted to be huge and as the months and years progressed i just wanted to get bigger and bigger, done a couple roid cycles along the way. During the last few months my goals have completely changed during my cut. When im ripped i just want to stay that way and do a natural lean bulk and stay away from the roids and 4-5k cals daily diet. Went from 130lbs to 236lbs in 3-4 years but was carrying too much body fat and felt unhealthy atm i feel much healthier and agile and getting that speed back that i lost

Wondering has anyone here changed their goals since starting BBing ?

As of now not really. When i started i said i wanna get to a cut mid 200lb range which for my height would be pretty ****ing massive. So far i've hit most of my short term goals though but now i want to compete so we'll see where that takes me.

My goals change every other week these days, sometimes I want to be chunky, bodyfat about 14-16% big-ish but still a tad soft, then I want to be like 8% and medium build but it shows I go to the gym, then the next day I want to be slim, not even have abs showing or anything but just be slim jim.

I change all the time but the only thing is that when you work your ass off in the gym, its just a great feeling so it looks like I wont go slim, especially since I like food a lot too.

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.
There is no room for junk food in any diet whatsoever, leave the junk in the bin.

TBH i think its macro and micro goals

i think muscleman you are not feeling good about yourself and want to cut

ultitamely you still want to be as big as poss

    when people say

    "im happy to be healthy"

they really often mean..."i need to cut because i have got fat"

offer them the weight the are ripped to shreads or even bigger ripped to shread and they will take it

    yes, every week tbh.

I never wanted to be big, just bigger.

I consider being big a bit unhealthy, I feel horrible.

After this bulk ends in July, I'm then dieting and concentrating on training for the London marathon

I wanted to be as big as possible .... I started the bulk at 11st7 and have reached just under 13st @ 5ft 8, however I have piled on the pounds, some fat/water, some lean muscle [hopefully!]. However I can appreciate that even though I look bigger and get the odd comment here and there, my face has put on weight, and I feel like chunk! [Eventhough my diet has been as clean as I could get it! - I think I may be eating too many carbs and have cut down the cardio too much though]

This sport plays games with your mind!

I am going to carry the bulk a little longer then concentrate on getting more athletic looking by dropping some BF and then by winter concentrate on increasing calories and carbs slightly to control a lean bulk gradually.

    TT you would probably disagree!

EDIT - Maybe I should start my own thread for advice

TT has a very good point, I consider being big (for me) unhealthy because I'm carrying too much fat. If I were ripped at this weight it may be a different feeling.

I'd still struggle to train and perform to my liking at a marathon carrying 13+ stone at 5'8" IMO even if I were ripped

After going to watch the London several times now, watching the great north run too, I have a massive desire to be a part of it...not to fun run it though, to go for a decent time so my goals have changed for this purpose

My first goal was 16 stone, got to that but carrying a bit of fat so my new short(ish) term goal is to be 16 stone and pretty lean. End of the line target would to be about 17 stone and in good nick

All I need is a big gun and a coupe that's crazy quick...

When i first started i was around 11st an my goal was to be 13st. Im now on the way to being 16st, and i dont feel asthough ihave changed that much

People say that i should stop at the weight i am now but i dont think i'll ever be happy hence goals constantly changing, never satisfied.

I often wonder if i have suffered some sort of disorder as my perception of myself seems planets away from the opinions of others

my interest was initially just to gain muscle

it has now evolved to being functional strong, athletic with a good body as a side effect (but still required)

I don;t know if this counts but:

When I started I just wanted to be leaner and healthy. I was running alot and weightlifting was a sideline. I lost about 10 pounds total over the first year but all my measurements when way up. 1.75" on my arms alone.

Then my goals were pure strength gains, wanted to be strong but light as possible. This led me to dedicated strength training where I put on 20 pounds or so over 2 years. After that feeling of size came over me I wanted more. I dropped the pure one rep max lifts to save injury. and just wanted to be larger.
