Applying alcohol/aftershave to your hair and scalp

Went to the barbers the other day for my regular cut which normally includes a clipper number 1 or 2 shave to back and sides.  Each time after his sprays on some alcohol aftershave type thing.  Stings a bit but lovely smell.  Also in the mornings after a shower I started to apply some EDT to my head - back and sides and find that the smell projects better and seems to last well which I sometimes mix with a drop of this argon oil for hair stuff.

However, is there any downside to all this, for instance will it turn my hair grey.

Might dry hair out a bit, and skin, but if you dont notice anything, should be fine.

Never heard of this but you'll probably go grey naturally anyway someday without this fancy stuff.
    Unless you're ginger, then you'll go a bit yellow-y.

No it will not turn your hair grey lol...  it might dry your scalp out a little bit though, however if you counteract it with a bit of Argan oil it should be fine.

There may be an element of truth in the greying. My hair is brown(whats left of it), but my stubble is grey, possibly down to years of aftershave abuse :)

I was thinking the same also with my unkempt stubble.

I might try using aftershave balm, might be a little kinder.

It will not cause your hair to go grey prematurely.
It may dry your scalp out if you put a lot on and rub it in .
Putting scents in your hair is actually a good thing to do as it lasts longer and works well for diffusion .

    Ignorance: Reassuringly Expensive.
