Are These Weights any good

Hello, im just getting started and i was looking to buy some cheap weights and i came across these http://www.ukfitnesssupplies.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/UKFitnessSuppliesLtd/W962100/55752 and i was wondering if they are any good, i know this may sound daft but usually weights like these sell for about £150. Thank you

P.S, does anybody now know where to buy a cheap strong bench that can take at least 200KG and is second hand

    Yeah they are ok.

At the end of the day, weights are just heavy objects!!! LOL

If I were you Id have a look in the local papers and carboot sales. When I used to train at home (many moons ago) id go around the car boot sales, at times id walk way with 50/60 kg for not much more than £10

Id say ebay but the prob there is the P+P so I recon local papers and carboot sales if you want to save money, dosnt matter if the weights are different colours etc.

http://www.fitness-superstore.co.uk/__12_product_info3_asp1_5_prdID4_32135.html, this is a better deal mate, for £39 extra you get 45kg more, can't see you buying 45kg for £39 at a later date. Also comes with a 7ft bar as opposed to the 6ft one. up to you mate.

    they seem alright,

    i got a load from www.worldofhealthandleisure.com (might be .co.uk)

the only thing you have to look out for is the size of the holes in the weights, some are bigger holes or bar diameters so you always take your custom to them (clever)

Im either going to buy the 100kg or the 145Kg it depends on how much a second hand bench will cost me, does anybody know where to find a cheap one of these, i was thinking of making one of my own, because all it is welding box tubing together it carnt be that difficult ( so i say).
