Much of it is boiled off when cooked and if you soak it for a day prior to eating it then even more will have been removed.

Old news, as long as you rinse before and afterwards there's no real issue.

I'd be willing to bet there's plenty more harmful stuff we ingest than rice in almost all of our daily choices.

There's always been arsenic in rice, and we've been eating it our entire lives.
More scaremongering IMO.

It is a bit worrying, I 've literally got a bucket load of Brown rice protein powder and I have had quite a bit of it. Would like to hear from the bulk suppliers who sell this whether they have any info on this.
Current batch is from gonutrition, also had some from MP in previous years, so would be good to hear from GN about it.

All grains have anti nutrients in them. We really aren't supposed to eat them, but we do. If you prepare them correctly, wash and soak them, many of these anti nutrients like arsenic will be removed.

There is a big difference between phytates or lectins and arsenic. The levels of arsenic are above and beyond what would naturally occur anyway, these levels in foods have increased from industrial pollutants which have leached heavy metals into the food chain. Anything someone can do to limit there intake of poisons, however minute can only be a good thing.

I take media reports with a shovel full of salt never mind a pinch. Hard to take at face value anything on tv. Sensationalism rules.
