I've got a one bed flat just me & the missus work all day & only in from 7pm onwards except at weekends & our bill with Eon is roughly £60 a Quarter

Gas is included in my Council rent for communal heating & that runs at £9 per week

70quid a month, but about £15 of that is paying off a balance from a couple of years ago, from when i had gas installed and it took them 18 months to actually sort a bill out!

    £80-85pm, 3 bed, 4 of us (well 3.5).

Wouldn't mind but I'm only in the house for about 10hrs a day (including sleep, so only 2-3 actively)

Ours is £300 a quarter. Which is for:
2 hours hot water a day.
3-4 hours a day of a some lamps and computers.

Thats it, for 2 of us. Fcking disgusting.

£70 a month here for gas and leccy. House is empty in the daytime but evenings and weekends will see computers and TV on a lot of the time and gas for the central heating too.

i work in the gas/electric market and my best advise i can give any of you is to

    a) make sure you supply constant readings - don't let your bills be estimated as the longer you leave this the more out of hand it can get! you may run up a large bill/overpay.

b)make sure you are on an online tarrif. use energyhelpline to make sure your on a good deal

c)wouldn't really both withe the price protection plans, generally pay a 7% premium for this compare to the standard tarrifs, 7% may seem minor, but prices have just gone up between 7-9%, last time they went up was 3+ years ago.

d)if you still have an economy 7 meter installed and DONT use 30% at least of your electric at night then consider switching to a single rate tarrif - you pay a cheap rate at night for economy 7 but your day is substancially higher! economy 7 is generally best for people with storage heaters who use these constantly. (Check your bills for day/night useage - make sure your readings arent estimated also)

I was paying £60 a month and always in credit. last bill they put me up to £120 as I'd built up a debt. I thought that seemed a bit steep so I was relieved to see that it was based on estimated readings and that it might be wrong. It was wrong. I owe them even more money than they think.

This is for a 3 bedroom house, but to be fair, we had heating on 24 hours a day for a good 3 months over the winter. It should go down again now...

    2 bed terraced, 4 people.

Used to be £110 a month for both Gas & Electricty but ended up overpaying Scottish Power(?) so now it's only £57 a month.

Colleague at work is paying over £400 a month but his heating is on 24/7
