BC Halo + Trenavar logging

Well the time has finally come and I fancy doing another cycle that will look as follows.......

BC Halo - 75mg - 6 weeks
German Pharma Trenavar - 4 weeks
Apocalypse Anti Venom - 3 caps daily
Inhibit P - 2/3 caps daily

As always my first stop is with Bodyconscious for the Halo as for me they're trusted, tried and tested and have never let me down.  Unfortunately they're not currently stocking their Tren so I decided to look elsewhere.  I then discovered that there are two types of oral Tren.  Their's is Tren- diene-dione (that BC stocked) which is a precursor to Tren- Dienolone.  Then there is Trenavar (Tren- dienolone) which converts to actual Tren.  With Tren being seen as one of the best PEDS going I thought I'd give the Trenavar a go.  It'd be rude not to.

After searching for and reading information and logs about Trenavar it's apparent that it makes users prone to Prolactin sides.  I've never been one for any cycle support extras but I absolutely hate Prolactin sides!!!  Therefore I decided to add the Inhibit-P to try and limit those as best as possible.  I understand Caber would have been the best choice but unfortunately I couldn't get my hands on any.

I’m running the minimum effective doses to get the least sides.  I'll be hoping for some more strength PB's as always and this time I really want to get the diet right to see the best cutting results.  I'll be honest, I was hoping to start off leaner than I am but I'm certainly not carrying much fat.  I will take some comparison photo's this time and fingers crossed I'll see some pleasing progress.

The cycle starts tomorrow and I will add more about starting stats and current lifts for those interested later.

Starting stats

Bodyweight weight - 86.8kg

Max lifts (last cycle)

Squat - 245kg
Bench - 150kg
Deadlift - 250kg
Overhead Press - 120kg

I've worked hard to try and keep as much of that strength as possible since the cycle.  I would say the deadlift has suffered the most but a good few weeks after the last PCT the numbers looked like this.......

Squat - 240kg (went for 250kg but missed it)
Bench - 140kg double (didn't max this due to shoulder issue)
Deadlift - 230kg (failed 240kg)
Overhead Press - 120kg

So it would be nice to see some new PB's at the end of this cycle.  Targets I'm going to set are as follows......

Squat - 250kg
Bench - 155kg
Deadlift - 255kg
Overhead Press - 125kg

I currently have shoulder tendonitis in both shoulders.  I've been having Physio for over a month now and there's been slight improvement.  Strangely the pain eases when I'm training although I'm pretty sure it's the training that has caused the issue and continues to irritate it.  I'm going to carry on regardless.

I have just taken the start photo's.  I hate taking photo's.

Day 1

Bench
10 x 60kg
10 x 70kg
10 x 80kg
8 x 90kg
5 x 100kg
2 x 5 - 115kg

CG Bench
2 x 5 - 105kg

Pulls Ups
3 x 12

Incline Bench
3 x 10 - 60kg

Tricep Pull downs
10 x 30kg
10 x 25kg
10 x 20kg

DB Hammers
2 x 10 - 16kg

Incline Walk - 15 mins - 6kph

This is week 5 of the Ed Coans bench program.  All went according to plan.  Incline press is light due to shoulder issues.

I'm considering deloading squat and overhead press this week.  I've been smashing it for a while now and although it seems an odd time to deload (first week of a cycle).  I think it would do me some good.

Cheers mate.  Have you ever tried Trenavar?  Do you think the Inhibit P is any good?  I'm still reading up and I'm thinking Caber might have been overkill but I really don't want to lose my libido.

Best of luck mate. Always love your write-ups. Tren is typically strength orientated rather than a mass builder?

Cheers mate.  I enjoy doing them even if nobody reads them   Tren is definitely strength orientated and good for shredding.  This is why I've chosen it.  I really want to get the diet tight this time.

I'm trying bud

Day 2

Squat

2 x 5 - 60kg
5 x 100kg
3 x 5 - 120kg

Calf Raises
30 x 100kg
25 x 100kg
20 x 100kg

Leg Raises
3 x 10 - 60kg

Weight Crunch / Roman Twist
3 x 20 - 10kg / 3 x 40 - 15kg

Incline Walk - 10 mins - 6kph

I decided to deload squats in the end.  Last weeks squat session ruined me and this weeks was set to be even harder.  I don't think I had it in me.  This will help me build up mentally to it and hopefully physically.

Also had shoulder physio this morning which went well.  Always come away with loads more mobility but no doubt it will return to normal over the next few days.  Finished this afternoon with 18 holes of golf for the fat burning gains.  I played ****.

Tried and tested methods mate.  Russian masters squat and Ed Coan Deadlift.  I'm about half way through both at the moment.  The squat numbers are about my limit without assistance I think.  Last weeks session absolutely ended me.

Your usual plan of attack then, I remember you saying you liked to run RM Squat and the ED Coan Bench and Deadlift plans alongside each other. Thats why I'm currently giving it a go, I'm 5 weeks in and enjoying it so far. I'm still unassisted though so hoping I can finish it!

As long as you've been sensible with your training maxes then you should make it through the program.  The first couple of runs through I put in maxes which churned out numbers I knew I would hit throughout.  Then I just added 2.5-5kg for the next run through.

Day 3 (yesterday)

Two and a half hours of BMX riding at the skatepark.  Totally destroyed me but it was good fun.  Loads of fat burning gains.  Another active day ahead today.

*tried adding a test photo here......failed

Day 4

I did 18 holes of golf again this afternoon and shot a respectable 81 which is 10 over par.  Good fat burning stuff!!

Squat
2 x 5 - 60kg
5 x 100kg
5 x 140kg
6 x 2 - 175kg

Bench
10 x 60kg
10 x 70kg
10 x 80kg
2 x 10 - 90kg

Skull Crushers
3 x 10 - 30kg

Weighted side bends
3 x 20 - 25kg

I decided to combine the easier squat and bench days together this week and I'm going to drop overhead press until next week.  After physio yesterday my shoulders are feeling the best they've felt in a couple of months.  Theory is a little rest will improve that further and I'm actually hopeful that recovery is in sight.

Decent day today.  I was feeling pretty good this afternoon at work.  A real nice sense of well being and went into the gym with lots of energy.  I'm trying to decide whether to drop overhead press completely this week or just do a light session tomorrow.

Day 6

I deloaded overhead press.  Just some light work with some core thrown in too.

Day 7 (Yesterday)

I didn't train in the gym at all yesterday but I was at work wearing BA and hauling hose up stairs so it still smashed me.

Day 8

Squat

2 x 5 - 60kg
5 x 100kg
3 x 140kg
3 x 160kg
5 x 5 - 185kg

Calf Raises
2 x 20 - 100kg

Leg Curl
3 x 10 - 60kg

Incline Walk - 15 minutes - 6kph

This workout was terrifying me for two weeks. The last session I did 6 x 6 - 175kg and it nearly ended me. Near collapse and nauseous for hours after so the prospect of this one was not something I relished. That said it went really well which can only mean one of two things. Either last weeks decision to reload was spot on and the extra recovery was what I needed or the Halo strength gains are starting to kick in. I thought it would take two weeks to feel any noticeable increase though. Either way I’m Just glad that I’ve done it. Next weeks doesn’t scare me even half as much.
