B/C preventing weight loss???

I am struggling to drop body fat, more so around the hip/thigh area. I have been on the contraceptive implant for quite a few years now but have been told this may be contributing to the struggle of my weight loss. My BF is 19% and i need to get this to 10%.
I train 6 days a week and diets good,
Should i get this removed and if so, are there any other women that use something else that doesn't affect weight loss etc?

I'm not so sure it's the implant. In my avatar I had a contraceptive implant in and at that point had had it for almost 3 years, it was about to be changed and I'm now 2 years into my second one. I also know of several other competitors with low body fat who also use implants and or the pill. Prior to this I used the combined pill, and also mini pill. The implant only contains progesterone and not estrogen, I've always been led to believe it's estrogen that is the main culprit for hormonal side effects.
The only thing that ever determines me losing bodyfat is diet.
It could affect you differently and my experience is only with me and hearing from other competitors, but I'd be firstly assuming that you aren't in enough deficit.
You could however try without it and see if that alters anything.
You may need to get your overall bodyfat much lower in order to loose the hip fat - mine body stores more on my stomach and I have to be 15% or lower to start looking hard in that area. In the meantime my arms and legs are lean up to quite a high BF.

You say your diet's good!! The main issue I have found. Is peope, forgetting that "healthy" or "clean" food still has calories!

What don't you post up your diet including servings/portions of EVERYTHING and we can asses further.

Keep a food journal for a week.
Reduce your caloric intake by 500 calories daily.
    Follow appropriate portion sizes.
    Choose lower calorie foods.
    Limit liquid calories.
    Cut out excess snacking.
