BF% Estimate?

Well

Having a BF test done next week, with calipers..something I am not keen on but would be handy to know what BF I am and then hopefully do the same again, when I am happy

I have a number in mind which I think I am, but just wanted some more experianced guesses... will post up the results next week, but would appreciate a rough Idea for when I get it done, for peace of mind

Pics taken about 10 days ago

cheers guys.... be harsh if you want! :)

    What's your height and weight?

I would guesstimate around 20% but have seen skinnier guys who look in similar shape coming up lower. You aren't carrying loads but you are on the smooth/soft side.

Good thread, i struggle to find out mine...

i worked mine out on a few websites, but i swear its high, 18% i get, but im really quite lean apart from a slight amount on my stomach area...

Any idea on a good site that can work this out a bit more accurately ?!

    LOL

No offense to the guy posting, but i carry no where near that BF, yet people here are saying possible 15% for him.

I'm guessing mine is way lower than i think :)

how do you expect to work it out with a website where you put in height/weight/whatever? you can be 6 foot 14 stone and ripped or 6 foot 14 stone and fat. these websites wont know the difference if you are just typing in some numbers.

those electrical scales that measure water levels (and therefore body fat) are better, but still pretty flaky.

get it measured at a gym with calipers.

yip, calipers are very good and cost effective.  The best way involves submerging you in a tank of water and costs a small fortune :-]

They all depend how hydrated you are and that depends on a multitude of things like diet, time of day etc etc none of which have anything to do with how fat you are.

If flaky means utter rubbish then I agree with you.

I had some,  I could be 30% BF at 1800hrs then at 0700 was 20%.  If only :-]
