he was incredibly talented. i don't think anyone seriously disagrees with that. You may not like his language or subject matter, that's a different issue.

Great person as he spoke the truth and had many good beliefs. That was his downfall though.

i dont mean to stir up people the wrong way here but the 'big up tupac' brigade is done to death. How can several years in the music industry pass a guy off as being a legend ?
He has not sold anywhere near as many records as others?
Many other 'stars' in the industry have equally as interesting point of view regarding important issues.

listen to his music and you will know wat i mean the man talks about wat really happens in the world and death doesnt gloryfie your achievements the reason of his killing was people were jealous of him his achievements the amount of songs he made in a day he could go in the studio and produce 30 songs a day.Another reason why i say legend look into his life how he was bought up nothin and made himself to be known and loved worldwide. Your intitle to your oppinion but the mans a legend theres no missin that. You also know hes death was orchestrated do some research u would be amazed wat u find out and i know u would think different of him after people like him the world needs more.

He made close to $80m in one year alone, not bad for a hip hop artist

ghetto gospel was good, i have heard he has recorded loads of songs awaiting release..

but i am actually sick of hearing about him being some kind of legend, why was he? maybe i have to listen to his music and see why. i just find it ludicrous when people say they RESPECT him, and it seems to be the same sort of wannabe gangsters etc.

I have little interest in his life but having said that i have watched several programmes regarding the east-west rivalries of the mid to late 90's. Very intetersting when looked at in the bigger picture.
however i feel death has glorified HIS achievements and made people who were perhaps after an icon/leader (poor, mainly black areas in the US) use him after his 'assassination'.

cc i understand where your comin from if we are talkin flow biggies gonna win hands down big could spell his name on a beat do almost anything with the beat but 2pacs lyrics were deeper always come from the heart biggie i love but for me talk about lot that hed heard not seen with tupac he rap about wat he saw thats why for me hes the best rapper of all time and if u look at sales and how many songs made 2pac is winning by far.Just to let u know biggie followed the foot steps of pac b4 he came on the seen big would only rap about guns and fight and 2pac told hime dont rap for the men rap for the bitches.Told him bitches bring u the money and it proved right as big turned inio big poppa.2pac and big both legends but tupac edges for me but peoples have there own oppinions on these matters.

u certainly heard wrong tupac didnt do such a thing. The man as a student couldnt even walk up his street without the police houndin him for petty things like j-walkin on a few occaisions they beat him with there sticks let him in the gutter for dead and 1 day they got wat was comin to them tupac shot 1 of them of duty which i think they got know more than they deserve i dont believe in 3 men beatin 1 man to pulp.Them people are the weak ones cowards
