MY BEST PERFORMANCE BY FAR .i was 1 point away from qualifing.4 competitors today myself, mick morritt, a very good new comer in his 1st season wayne tunstall & former wsm competitor lee bowers.have to say wayne & lee are really friendly and top blokes, after meeting them today for the first time i have nothing but respect for the pair. i got pbs in the yoke, farmers, log in competition, tyre & stones .the tyre was timed in blocks,so you had to complete the various lifts to score(2 flips of 470kg then your score for smaller tyre counted because you didn't finish the block).i want last on the tyre and only wayne had managed 1 flip of the 470kg so i decided to go all out on the smaller tyre, because i wasn't confident of doing all 3 flips,so i came second and didn't bother with the 470 to save my energy for the stones in which i won.
had the 140kg stone on lip but it slipped down.huge congrats to wayne for coming 1st for the first time. .just like to say a huge well done to my training budding little mick who has a brilliant dig in ability .

    Great work Rob!

Hey that tyre scoring system was a bit funny...

unlucky with that 140 stone, but it didnt look like you needed it in the end

Why only 4 athletes in the end?

    Well done again!
