BULKING AT AGE 16

Hello, I'm 16 yrs old and currently 6ft tall, I'm been doing about max 10 reps every set, my size has gone up a lot but my weights don't move much, I see smaller guys lift more then me, is it because I only work mass and not strength? P.S I've only been training for 7 months I do 2 hrs a day and 6-7days a week, if I change it to 2-6 reps a set will this increase my weights? thank you!

Hi and welcome

Why not post up your typical diet in the Diet & Nutrition forum and your training routine in the Bodybuilding Routines forum and people will comment and help?

Generally lower reps will give you more strength gains, higher reps for size but of course there is some crossover. Something like stronglifts (5x5) is a good option for a bit of both, or you could do lower rep/heavier weights at the start of your session, finishing off with some higher rep stuff afterward.

Hi, 6-7 days training is too much, you need to rest to allow your muscles to grow, for bulking I do 5x5 heavy as I can, 2 hours seems abit long as well, an hour roughly works out for me but everyone is different!!
