sure theres only 10g with the 250g of quark, and the added milk, and the cocoa?

Sorry windows, thats just for the quark on its own.

The milk added would barely increase the carbs im talking 10-20mls so 1g max carbs, the cocoa aint much either in 2tsp probably 2-4g carbs and the splenda equals only 4kcals.

I was having a pint of milk before with whey, probs about 30g carbs think this is better option, cant afford any casein at the moment :(

Roddy; maybe to an extent but its important to get a high protein snack in there before bed or youll be in negative nitrogen balance when you sleep and muscle catabolism will occur.

The ideal would be some casein in water IMO but i cant afford it just yet and i think the quark is a much better option than lots of milk which is much higher in carbs. (5g per 100mls)

This meal probs has half the carbs than the protein shake made with milk i was having, probs has about 15g which is roughly 60kcals of carbs.

What is quark? I saw a tub of it next to the cottage cheese in the grocery, but didn't look any further.
