Unfortunately.. I don't find that at all motivating.. as

    a) I'm not really willing to use chemical assistance
    b) Even if I were .. I certainly wouldn't be willing to use it in the doses, and for the duration, that would be required for me to look anything like that.

Put up a picture of some underweight guy.. and then show him with a decently muscular naturally attained physique .. and I'd call that motivating. Or some overweight guy.. acheiving the same in reverse.
Why? because it shows what most people could reasonably expect to acheive in 2-4 years... not 10-15 years down a chemically assisted road. Yes I know it's a long term game.. but I suspect that most beginers would just be demotivated by looking at pictures that will take them half a life time to acheive..(especially if it requires "special help").. I know I certainly would have..( all those years ago as a skinny teenager), if I'd known at the time that the pictures of the 60s BBs I had on my workout sheet had all spent 10 years taking drugs to look like they did.

I know a lot of people think Antony Ellis is genuine but i would be really, really concerned if my hairline receded that much in 12 weeks!

I used to train in the same gym as Magnus Ver Magnusson.. man he's huge and pushing some impressive weights.
That motivated me through my workouts, although I didn't want to look like him.

You're not kidding !! I've just noticed that. He's got to be a good 10 years older in the second picture. Also, I've always felt a nagging suspicion that the body in the "before" photo doesn't belong to the head.

With that Anthony Ellis before and after photo, how many months after was the after photo taken? Also how do you know Anthony isn't chemically assisted?

Dont worry about it, I am just sceptical! I do belive the guy in the first pic is him. Its been debated before and i am sticking to my guns! If he got that big in 8 weeks then how come after nearly 3 years I dont look nearly that good? I train hard and eat right, i sleep a lot. Whats the secret!?

    1) Muscle memory, ie looked like he did in the second picture, he stopped eating for a few weeks and went into extreme catabolism, they take a picture of him in that state, he starts eating again and BAM! he gains back what he had before. This is the trick most supp companies use for their before and after shots and in some it's pretty obvious, especially the 'fat guy gets skinny' shots where you can see in the before picture that he's just an extremely muscular guy that has let it go to pot for a few months.
    2) Drugs

I agree with this but what about the hair line!? Maybe he had a stressful couple of months
