Beginner Routine

Looking for a routine good for someone who has been doing cardio for last couple of months and wants to add in some weights to his routine.

He wants to do a full body weights programme after his normal running,x-trainer, row etc.

Im no good cos all I know is advance BB so would probably advise his incorrectly and end up injuring him.

His gym has free weights, weight machines and the air pressure machines.

Advice appreciated. 'He' is my boss by the way. Earn me some gold stars!!!

Deadlifts, squats, military press, barbell curls, bench press.
Just do these five in a all in 1 routine every 2-3 days.
Start with 1 set of each and after a few weeks go to 2 sets while progressing the weights every chance you get.
There is only a need to do 1 20 rep squat as this will fry the legs.

Just a bit of toning to compliment his cardio routine. He's new to this fitness thing so an all rounder would be ideal. Not sure what reps/sets/exercises are best for a beginner like this
