Being sponsered in Bodybuilding

I always wondered when someone is sponsered (say they were sponsered by CNP) can they just say use i will have 10 bags of pro peptide this month.

Or do they have like a 'quota' eg £150 per month.

Also if you could be sponsered by anyone who would it be?!

Do you think it is best to be sponsered by someone like Kitty who has musclefinesse behind then surely you can take your pick from a whole vairty of brands?!

It varies across the board. Some only offer discounts and the level of discount varies across companies, I've known it range from 30% to 50%. Other companies will offer a set amount per month/annum. One guy I know is entitled to £500 worth of a well known brand. Others may not give a limit as long as you don't take the p1ss (I think 10 bags of propeptide would be suspect as not being for the user), when you're offered such an opportunity you really do not want to take advantage as it would no doubt lead to a quick termination of the sponsorship and as we are such a small sport, word would get round and you'll soon find yourself paying full whack for supplements again as no one will touch you with a barge pole.

It's good for a manufacturer/direct supplier to have some athletes as their sponsees and use them to advertise their product under the banner that their products make the athletes look like that. Most people I know in the position though never stick to the one brand and will pay to use something else like anyone else would because maybe they don't like their protein drinks for example.

In my situation with Muscle Finesse I am very fortunate that I can pick and choose which brands I go for, it's almost like being a kid in a sweet shop each time I order but I seem to have settled fairly well into what I'm using and will perhaps stick with those, and I shall take this opportunity again to thank Bill from Muscle Finesse for sponsoring me
