Bench Press upping weight prob
Hey guys, currently im working my way through the Bill Starr's 5x5 routine, im 7 weeks in and hit a brick wall with the bench, on week 5 i did my 1x3 set and did it no problem. now on week 6 i came to do the 5 rep set with the same weight i did the 3 rep set and just couldn't go past 3 reps so i altered the friday according and went back to the week 5 friday to build back up to it and on the week 7 monday i am still unable to get 5 reps out which is really getting me frustrated. Im not sure if its because i chose to do inclined bench instead of military press on the wednesday and now my inclined is getting higher weight its not letting my chest recover enough. so thinking about changing it?
Can anyone give me any advice or help?
