I did get some vids I may post, there were about 6-7 guys there. I actually have met 3 of them from lifting comps
in local areas. I didn't think to pull out the camera until later, but I did get a few. All but the smallest guy..a believe a 181 lifter were pushing 405 for reps, raw, 2 others were pushing 450-500 raw...one of them a 25yr old, 198lbr pushed 455 and tried a bounce rep with 500, but missed. 3 of them shirted up - the 181 guy missed a 405, one other guy I think around 275lbs got a 585, then 625 single. The biggest guy a superH, around 330lbs was using an F6 shirt and could not get it to touch, but did 650, stopped it around 2-3 inches from chest and easily pressed it, then 710 went to about 1.5" from chest and pressed it easy, then 750 nearlty touched...about an inch and he pressed it..je finally put on 770, touched and paused but could not get it to move more than a few inches. This bloke has squatted over 800, benches in lo-mid 700's and I think deads in mid 600'. Anyway fun to watch..I did get involved...alreasy worked chest on Wednesday, but did 135x5, 135x8, 185x5, 225x3, 265x1...shirted up and tried big guy showed me how to get the shirt on right..I stood behind the bench on a platform, he grabbed bottom of shirt and wrapped it around the bar that had 300 on it and had me pull up while he pulled down, then another guy cranked my belt. 300 was easy, then did a 330, still no problem, then 365..a grunted a tad but locked it no prob. Then tried 385 with a 3" block, got it!! PB but doesn't count with the block!!
Then tried a 405 with the same block...felt good in my hand went down and pushed like hell and made more noise than anyone had while there, but got up, was driving with my legs, etc and locked it out..spotter say only thing he did was guided the bar away from the rack cause I was getting behind my head..well pleased!!!

Well bench shirts will help you get used to heavy weights. You will still feel the stress of the weight on your wrist, elbow, shoulder, etc. But i do agree lifts with shirts are false lifts. If its not raw it doesnt count. UNLESS their is some sexy hoes around. THen it counts hands down every time

Yeah, I agree to a certain degree about shirts, the guy that lowered 770, cannot bench 600 without it. I on the other hand get 50 lbs from shirt. The one guy that did 525 raw and the 198er that did 405x5 raw was really impressive!

I think allot of it might be perspective. If you believe your shirt helps you; you might try harder
