Best company to get PT cert in the UK?

Hey so Ive been reading the forums for quite some time but never really posted for some reason. Im curently looking to start a Personal training level 3 course in April and was wondering if you guys know any reputable companies that train their personal trainers well? I heard that Lifetime hf was quite good but i only found one pt with a qualification from them and i looked through about 50 different trainers to see what most of them had. Premier is another company along with the YMCA that came up alot. Any of you guys got your certs from any of these? Im based in london btw so if you have any recommendations let me know. Thanks.

I used Future Fit but personally have nothing to say positive about them. I would avoid.

Surely you would just go for the cheapest option. The very few people I know who actually make a decent wage from PT are the ones who can  market themselves well and have achieved something. National level competitors or very pretty girls.

Have considered it but the market is utterly saturated with PTs and don't fancy starting a career from scratch again.

I also did both level 2 and 3 with Premier and would highly recommend them.

My brother got made redundant from his job in the city and took up PT (as he bodybuilds too) because he enjoyed training. Whilst he enjoyed what he did, the job itself isn't that secure and you have to build up your client base from scratch and maintain. It has its ups and downs but personally, I wouldn't rely on it full time.

He now works back in the city and like me, does it on the side.

I also agree, appearance does make a difference. People will disagree but, my brother is a well built bloke, trained a long time. People saw he practised what he preached and they approached him over other people. It can make a difference, not all the time, but I believe it certainly helps. It all depends what you are training for. If I was going for weight loss, would I go for the overweight, extremely knowledgeable guy? Or the skinnier, not so intelligent guy? At first glance...the slimmer guy (remember, AT FIRST GLANCE). That's me being honest. Bit off topic this subject though, sorry!

I was on the first level 3 course Lifetime did in Manchester.... I cant speak highly enough of the company.. The infrastructure and resources available are second to none, they are also the number 1 training provider in the UK when it comes to helping their students get into the work place after qualifying due to massive links with Fitness First..

I am a very successful PT and freelance fitness tutor and Lifetime gave me the opportunity to do what i love.

Consider one of the smaller companies, you are likely to get more tutor time and more one-to-one attention.
    (but I would say that)

to be honest my wife has done her level 2 and is going to start her level 3 in july with hamiltons.
she had signed up for a distance learning course with another company and they were rubbish no help from tutor and was left on her on.
spoke to hamiltons tonight and they offer the best sort of package for value and support in my expenience
    excellent company to communicate with
