Best exercises to get big pecs

im really going to him my pecs hard from now on, just looking for the best exercises

    Any pressing movemnts flat, incline, decline, barbell , dumbell your choice!!

    Pressing movements only go so far for me, flyes offer more for mass (no help to strength though).

    26 is right here. Pressing movements only go so far for my chest development. My triceps are usually failing before I really hit my chest.

    Fly movements are definately the way to go. Obviously combined with pressing.

    As stated already a mixture of pressing along with flyes and cant really go wrong.

    My chest development hasn't been as good as I'd liked, I feel I maybe concentrating too much on pressing movements.

    You guys that respond well to fly movements, are you doing more than one fly movement per workout...ie incline AND decline?

    Personally, I think finding a rep range that works best for you is more important for chest development.

    the problem most people have with there pressing movements is they dont press and squeeze with the pecs they arm and shoulder the weight.

    fly's work for them because they cant cheat, my advice is to do a fairly steep incline press with barbell anywhere inbetwen midchest and throat, drop the weight and squeeze with the pec.

    after that do what you want but use good form and train the pec not just lump weights

    Maybe try pre-exhausting the chest with sets of flyes first before moving onto heavy pressing which should then help to hit the chest harder....though you'll probably be pressing less obviously..

    Flat & Decline pressing all the way for me, don't get any feeling out of incline for my chest whilst Decline batters it!

    I rarely train my chest yet it's the body part that stands out

    But it's the only part I train for that reason

    What works for me are heavy low rep incline deep DB press and weighted deep dips. Occasionally do flat bench maxes when training with friends.

    Dips
    Flies

    That pretty much has you covered. But as Walnaldinho said, finding the right rep range is also very important.

    No that would be the worse thing to do.  If your triceps fail first, then pre-exhausting them would make them fail even earlier, so your chest gets even less of a hit.
     
    I would agree that doing some flyes before chest would help a great deal.  Don't forget to train your rotator cuff as that is the most common failure point stop your chest from getting its maximum hit.

    I've been concerned that when i bench press i somehow haven't been hitting my chest enough. I mainly think this because my chest isn't really that much bigger, but it has improved since i've included flyes in my routine. Is this actually because i'm not using my chest enough in the movement? Could you please explain this more because sometimes when i bench i feel like im not even using my chest in a way, yet i have doms the next day and day after.

    I do a mixture of all of them each week really... i work it twice a week:
    first wo will include flyes, flat db, db incline
    the second will be flat bb, weighted dips and cable cross over (sort off decline flyes)
    then ill swap it each week so i will do:

    first wo flyes, flat db, decline db

    Just mix it around a bit see what works best for you
