What are your goals and stats ?
I wouldnt just go to the gym and "hit a few machines" in some random order until your muscles give up. I did this for 2 years and although my initial gains were good after about 1 month I did not gain anymore and felt tired throughout the day.
I would advise you to look around this website and try and match your goals/needs to some kind of structured routine and have a plan of attack. In this way your training will take on a lot more purpose, you should enjoy the gym a lot more and make more gains.
There are hundreds of routines on this website it is just a matter of choosing one that suits you. After that stick to it , eat well and you should see instant improvements........
