Bicep Training but Forearms Ache

When doing bicep curls or generally any bicep excercise my forearms go into an almost unbearble type of pain. I can't fully describe it. The guy i go gym with also gets a similar pain. Are we doing something wrong or are our forearms just weak? Thanks.

You doing EZ bar curls or straight bar curls?
EZ bar's do more forearms then biceps.
Sure your holding it right? etc?

Sounds a similar problem to me lately. My forearms burn like crazy while doing bicep curls ..i thought it might be because i do them after bent over rows which hits my forearms quite hard.

Same on deadlifts, im still using puny weights (started training at 70kg for 4x8, now at 110kg for 4x8) and my grip seems to go before anything else.

I guess a lot of it is technique for hitting the target muscle groups?

I find this happens to me sometimes too, keep an eye on your wrists and make sure there not moving at the top of the rep and in effect perfoming a wrist curl at the top of the rep which will possibly cause what your referring too mate .

It's because forearms get worked in bicep movements.
It's important to do biceps before you work forearms.

Mine were like this for a while but it was down to me using the heavy big for my cardio. I stopped the punch bag and the pain went away after a couple of weeks. It almost felt like my forearms wanted to snap.lol

Apparently its tendonitis of the wrist. I've got it too.

EZ bar curls and hammer curls are good because your wrist is in a more natural position. Just give these a go for a couple of weeks and it'll get better

Its just because the barbell and cable bars etc put a strain on the wrist therefore straining the forearms a little, this is why it doesnt happen with the ez-bar [more natural position as said before]

just stick it out and get BIG!
