Biceps

Hey guys i have a problem.
My routine looks like this
ez bar curl 4x8
curls 4x8
reverse grip cable curls 4x8
The prob i have is when i have done my ez curls i find that i have no more energy and i could go home after that as i feel i cant do anymore.
When doing buceps is it ok to do 5x5 instead of 4x8 or is there anything i could do so finish my workout or would you change the workout?

agree, it's too much for biceps alone IMO.

post up the rest of your routine bigtime - remember you work biceps pretty hard on back day too.

just go for something like this

    3x6 ez-bar curls

3x6 hammer curls thats enough isolation and if your doin them with back maybe drop 1 of the above

I currently do bis on there own as i live next door to a gym so i pop in do what i have to do so i thought soing 12 sets would be ok as i only train them on there own.

Would doing a 3 day split be better than going in everyday for 15 mins?

what are the benifits of training them with another muscle group? I thought it may be better the way im doing it as i train hard and use all my energy in this 20 min workout.

you should train them with your back. Add a couple of back exercises e.g bb bent over rows deadlifts
so your workout will look something like this.
    3x8 deadlifts
    3x8 bb bent over rows
    3x8 ez bar curls
    3x8 hammer curls
With doin this u will only workout for about 30 mins plus doin your back and thats enough once a week to stimulate them into growth. hope this helps.p.s if u are able to do chins id add 3 sets also as there good for bk and biceps.
