RE: Bill Boyd's Gym
Thanks Pagan & 3-style. TBH, I generally train at home, but my gains aren't as much as I hoped or expected, so I thought I'd try a gym for a few months, to see if it made a difference.
My girlfriend was watching me do lat pulldowns last week, and asked me what body part I was training. Stupid question, I thought, but I told her I was training my back. She then told me that my back muscles weren't moving at all, and everything seemed to be coming from my arms, which shook me a bit!
I'm now wondering if my old injuries (broken shoulder, and disc trouble) are stopping my range of movement, and so limiting my gains, so thought I'd get an informed critique. Didn't fancy Bannatynes or Springs, and remembered Bill Boyds, which I believe has been running for donkey's years, although I think the original Bill Boyd died some time ago.
Anyway, thanks for your input, and I'll give it a try.
