Blood Pressure Reading Help

Hi guys Just a quick follow up from my last thread, I just popped into the chemist and had my blood pressure done to see if it has anything to do with my drowsy/tiredness, anyway i had two done one on a machine and one by the pharmachist.

Machine reading was, BP 146-81 and pulse 80

Pharmacists redaing was, BP 150-70 and pulse 80

Anyway guys im confused how to read it some can someone please help, cheers

    Your systolic is a little higher than the 'norm' but your diastolic looks ok.

    How high mate? Could it be down to the AAS?

    Not massively higher - norm is around 120/80.

    hi mate Blood pressure can change constantly through training, stress etc steroids as well
    its not massively high. you can usually go by age (systolic) and your diastolic being around about 70/85. High blood pressure is measured at 150/90 and above

    140/90 (and lower in some cases)

    Ask the pharmacist for another reading in a week or so time. A single reading is not something to get too alarmed as it's persistent hypertension that's the concern. It likely is a temporary side effect of your AAS use, but that doesn't mean you should dismiss it. In the meantime watch the salt intake etc and maybe consider some taurine.
