Blood donation and steroids ?!

Why do people on juice donate blood before some cycles ?
is it problematic if someone doesn't donate blood ?
which are the cases in which one is advised to donate before,on, or after a cycle ?!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you're pinning then just don't tell them as they'll not except you, but in practise donating blood while on cycle can be beneficial as most AAS raise hematocrit levels and donating blood can help off set this problem.

@Silent rep: But isn't high red blood cell levels a positive thing in building muscle ?
I think related to nitrogen retention ?
ps: if I do a 12 week cycle , how many times per month should I donate ?!

High hematocrit is a double edged sword, yes it can help transport oxygen to the muscles hence why pro cyclists and endurance athletes use EPO but this means thickening the blood, if you're susceptible to blood clots this's not a good thing, add in that a lot of AI's can raise cholesterol levels = double bad. I'm just giving you this info, you'll probably be fine without donating but hematocrit and raised lipid values are things to be aware of when cycling if you were under a sports GP these are the things he would be monitoring.

If you do feel the need to donate while on cycle i'd do it 1/2-2/3's the way through.

Sorry between halfway and two-thirds the way through.
