Re: Blood test what I need tested
er tbh i just told my doctor that i was taking steroids and asked her not to put this in my permanent medical record. as a result i have a wee folder i take home with me with any steroid related results. blood tests are normally ordered as a result of symptoms i'm having - test level will be checked if i "complain of low libido", statins "because of familial heart problems" (although that actually found i had a high cholesterol level!
what can i say i have a young female doctor, who's willing to look outside the box and treat me in a non judgmental fashion.
how you go about this really depends on whether you trust your doctor - if you don't trust them then ffs find another as at some point you life may be in their hands. be aware that if you admit to injecting even intramuscularly this will affect life insurance policies, payouts and possibly your employment. i'm lucky, with who my doctor is, many are not so you may have to pretend to be worried about high cholesterol levels to get the test or lie about low libido to get testosterone levels checked
AKA theweeninjaguy. 8 st 2 lb when I joined this site, I’ve gained 7 stone since then. Homer stands behind me as a reminder that a normal 44 year olds body is constantly chasing me. The only difference between me and homer, is MT and the gym!
