Blood tests - parameters changed?
Posted aaages ago in the over 40s about potentially starting an injectible cycle in my fifties. Eventually did, no regrets, and now about to commence my fourth cycle. Usual PCT protocols and I have bloods taken prior to each new cycle to ensure recovery from the previous.
The latest bloods have my DHEA-S at marginally over the top, but it's actually lower than in any of my previous tests. The "normal" range is shown as 1.2 - 8.98 umo/L when it was previously 0.44 - 13.40. Looking down the list, other ranges have changed as well.
Dr Google isn't helping. Has the medical profession recently re-assessed what they regard as "normal"? Anyone know?
