Blue pin for glute shot ?

Been shooting in my delt and have decided to try start doing shots into my quads. Is a 1 inch(25mm) pin sufficient for a Quad shot?. Also Ive heard Quad shots can be quite painful.

Cheers

glute shots are some much nicer then quads IMO. granted it is a little bit more difficult to aspirate, but over all i've never had any pain when injecting and only hit a vein once in 16 injections
