Bodyfat %

When is the best time to take a bodyfat reading?

Reason I ask is that today was the start of week 4 on ECA
and I hopped on the BF machine at the gym at 8.30pm this evening
after doin 30mins cardio followed by shoulders and Triceps (dont normally do the 2 sessions together)
and I was 13.0% which I cant get my head around as last time I did it
I was in the high elevens 3 or 4 months ago - but I look quite a bit leaner now.

Any ideas?

They are not too acurate anywa

I always do it at the same time each week (before gym on a wednesday) - after all it's a guide to your personal weight loss and not anything else.

That way I know I should have the same hydration, calories (as my diet is fixed ish) etc .... still varies, but about as best as I can get

Do it weekly, and don't get disheartened when it goes up .... you'll see it generally go down mate. Mine has varied between 14.7 and 19.2 recently ... but generally going down ... afterall that is what matters

As said they aren`t really accurate but you`ll get the most accurate reading first thing in the morning before you`ve eaten or had anything to drink as both will ingluence the reading.

Body fat calipers and waist measurements are a better bet mate.
